What day is it?

I honestly am not 100% sure what day it is without looking at my watch. I am also 100% ok with that. Our days each blend into one another with their vague routines and unhurried agendas. I was thinking about the song from Tangled and how closely it resonated:

🎢🎢Seven a.m., the usual morning lineup
Start on the chores and sweep ’till the floor’s all clean
Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up
Sweep again, and by then it’s like 7:15🎢

🎢And so I’ll read a book
Or maybe two or three
I’ll add a few new paintings to my gallery
I’ll play guitar and knit
And cookΒ and basically
Just wonder when will [quarantine end]?🎢🎢

.

.

In all seriousness, we’ve really enjoyed this time to garden, shop local (we joined a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) for meat and veggies), spend time together as a family, and really just recreate my childhood from the ’90s. But boy are we ready for ‘normal’ life to resume.
